Beloved husband of the late Kathleen Kenny. Preceded in death by his parents Clara and Walter Chudek; dear late brothers William, Joseph and sisters Olga Kunstadt, Irene Vash; loving late aunt Irma Ott.
Survived by his brother Charles Walter "Chuck" and wife Catherine Chudek and their children, Cynthia (Gossett), Christopher, Carrie Jean (Estreich); surviving sister-in-law Betty McClurg; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; surviving children of his late wife, Jerry Kenny, Gloria Penny.
Al was an avid golfer, played at Mid City Golf Club in Chicago and competed in local tournaments. For a short time owned his own Veteran Cab, drove for Yellow Cab for many years.
The family extends its heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at Pebble Brook Nursing Home and Rehab Centre, in Lake Bluff, IL; along with Vitas Hospice Care of Lombard, IL, for their care, attention and concern.
Funeral Mass Tuesday, September 6, at 10 a.m., at St. Alphonsus Church, 1429 Wellington, Chicago.
Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
