Socialite at the center of a sensational, highly-publicized murder trial in the 1960s. Candace was charged with the killing of her millionaire husband, Jacques Mossler, in his Key Biscayne, Fla., condo on June 29, 1964. Mossler was acquitted and authorities declined to pursue the search for her husband's murderer(s).

Mossler died in 1976, at the age of 55, and was survived by her children Rita, Norman, Martha, Chris, Daniel, and Edward as well as two grandchildren, Liza and Alex.
