The Baxter Bulletin, Mt Home, AR - Nov 24, 1944 - Mrs Dora Baker, aged 71, died Tuesday at the home of her niece, Mrs George Alexander of Norfork. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs Syltha Payne of Kansas City, and a son Walter Baker who lives in Ohio and the following nieces: Mrs Bertha Lane, Old Joe; Mrs Annie Lee Payne, Sapulpa, Okla.; Mrs Hattie Martin, Picher, Okla.; and a nephew, Edgar Havner, Dolph. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Galatia Church by the Rev. E. T. Baker; The Adams Funeral Home of Cotter was in charge.
