"Mrs. Arabella Recor died Tuesday evening in her home, 200 Cortland Avenue, at the age of 70 years, following an illness of 10 months. She was born in Mackinaw City and had spent the greater part of her life in Detroit. She was a member of the Wesley Methodist Church. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Lynn Wolvin, Mrs. Raymond Gruber, and Mrs. James Malloy." (Detroit Free Press, July 16, 1924)
