Born in Cumberland, Md. Known as Sophia while married to John A Stanton. Later known as Anne when married to James J Gallagher. Buried with John Stanton and all but 1 of her children. The gravesite of James J Gallagher her 2nd husband is a short distance away. Shown here at the home of her daughter Katie Hurney on Wisconsin Ave across the street from the cemetery. Her grandson Joe Hurney is in the baby carriage.
