Louis was 20 and Eva was only 15 when they married. Louis went to live with Charles and Olive Kaune, after his father died, he was very handsome with dark hair and blue eyes, he was very pleasant with a wonderful personality, when I try to picture him I always see him smiling he and Eva were married in Pinckneyville and in time went to live in St. Louis, Illinois, he was a fireman and a Mason, he always called my grandmother "Mother Kaune" I don't know how many years Louis lived with my grandparents, but I remember many a Sunday dinner that we would spend with them and they with us, Martha had Thanksgiving and Uncle Louis and Aunt Eva were always there, He died at the age of 48 of a Heart Attack, it was a great shock to the whole family.
