CROWE RITES
GRANTSVILLE, Oct. 12 - Services were held this afternoon in New Germany Methodist church for Henry Stewart Crowe, 85, who died Tuesday evening at his home in Avilton after a long illness. The Rev. Charles Sisk officiated.
Mr. Crowe as the last member of a family of nine children of Henry and Harietta (Durst) Crowe, early settlers in New Germany.
He is survive by his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Mary Wilhelm and Mrs. Pearl Wilhelm, Avilton and Mrs. Hazel Garlitz, Cumberland, and four sons, Harvey, who just returned from Germany; Samuel, Lee and Edgar, at home.
