Mildred E. "Millie" Achey, 93, of 3026 Mt. Hope Home Road, Manheim, and formerly of Lebanon, died Monday, April 27, 2009, at Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community. She was born August 26, 1915, in Rutherford Heights, daughter of the late Norman P. and Ellen A. Hoke Brown. She was a member of Living Waters Chapel. She worked 19 years as the housekeeper for Dr. Miriam Dengler, podiatrist. Surviving are daughters, Faye, spouse of Barry Henning of Mechanicsburg, Kay Curran of Lebanon, Mary J. Langford of Annville, and Martha J., spouse of Gary Ross of Lebanon; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, John L. Achey (03/26/1999); brother, Herbert W. Brown; and sister, Doris Brown. Viewing is scheduled for Friday, May 1, 2009, from 1-2 p.m. at Christman's Funeral Home Inc., 226 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, followed by services at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park.
