Senecaville--Elsworth Secrest, 91, of Senecaville, died Sunday (June 13, 1982) at 6:30 p.m. at Guernsey Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness.
He was born Oct. 19, 1890, at Senecaville, son of the late William and Angeline Leeper Secrest. He was a retired U.S. government employee. His wife, the former Elizabeth Thomas, preceded him in death as well as five brothers and one sister. He was a member of Harmony Lutheran Church, Buffalo, and Point Pleasant Masonic Lodge 360.
He leaves several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Meek Funeral Home here, with the Rev. Paul J. Korntheuer officiating. Burial will be in Senecaville Cemetery.
