He was survived by his wife Edna Irene "Nelson" Adkins and six children threee sons Robert William, Donald Gene and Ronald David Adkins and Three Daughters Donna Faye Adkins, Sarah Louise Adkins and Patricia G. Adkins all being of Ohio He was also survived by Three Brothers Clyde Joseph Adkins, Lewis Gene Adkins Sr. and Ronald "Peewee" Adkins all being of Jackson Co. Kentucky he was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents Morris & Amilda "Fox" Adkins and Joseph Harrison & Sarah Evaline "Johnson" Parrett
by Three Brothers Raymond Adkins, Lester Adkins and Harold Adkins he was a Private First Class Soldier In The Korean War
