Funeral Services Held Wednesday at Gully for Mrs. Ada Knudson

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Ada Knudson, who passed away Sept. 30, at Port Angeles, Wash., at Lund Lutheran church in Gull yesterday, Wednesday, Oct. 4. The Rev. Roger Olson officiated.

Ada Elizabeth Jnudson was born April 10, 1877 in Westergotland, Sweden to parents Mr. and Mrs. John Watterberg. She came to America at the age of two years and settled in Wilken county.

On Aug. 10, 1898 she was united in marriage to Anton Knudson at Wolverton, Minn., where they resided until 1905, when they homesteaded east of Thief River Falls. They moved to Gully in 1920.

The past two years she had resided with her daughter, Ruby Knudson, in Port Angeles, Wash.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anton, in 1954.

Survivors include three sons, Claude of Gull, Ray of Athens, Ohio and Howard of Parkersburg, Iowa; two daughters, Mrs. John Breslford (Lottie) and Ruby, both of Port Angeles, Wash. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Louise Sullivan and Miss Sarah Watterberg of Minot, N. Dak. and Mrs. Ed Larson of Brush Prairie, Wash.; three brothers, Charlie Watterberg of Vauxhall, Alberta, Canada, Fritz Watterberg of Minneapolis and Conrad Watterberg of Brush Prairie, Wash.; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
