Capt. M. L. Kiggins, whose sudden death from apoplexy Tuesday morning was so great a shock to his large circle of friends, was buried this afternoon at Rock Creek cemetery. He was a veteran of the late war and was wounded several times in action. The esteem in which he was held was attested by the large number of friends and acquaintances who called at his late residence, 728 9th street northwest, to pay their last respects to his memory. He leaves a widow and several children.
