Married Floyd Hanson in 1927. They had three children. Her 1st husband, Floyd, died in 1957. She married Hilding Anderson in 1962. He died in 1991.

Alice Anderson Obituary - (Hiawatha, Feb. 13, 2003)-
HIAWATHA -- Alice Anderson, 97, Hiawatha, died Monday, Feb. 10, 2003, at a Hiawatha hospital. Mrs. Anderson was a switchboard operator in Hamlin many years ago. She was born Jan. 4, 1906, in Morrill, to Winfield and Cora May Lydick. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ in Hiawatha and was active in the CLN Club and Walnut Extension Club. She married Floyd Hanson in 1927. He died in 1957. She married Hilding Anderson in 1962. He died in 1991. Survivors include a daughter, Joan McDaniel, Topeka; a son, Gerald Hanson, Huntsville, Ala.; a stepdaughter, Rosalie Ploeger, Morrill; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and stepgreat-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Bethany United Church of Christ in Hiawatha. Burial will be in Hamlin Cemetery in Hamlin. Mrs. Anderson will lie in state after 1 p.m. today at the church.
