Paul Green BOYKIN died after 1900. By Henrietta G. ANDERSON, he was the father of Lovik P. BOYKIN (born about 1869, died after 1917), and by Mary Ann WILLIAMS, he was the father of John Williams BOYKIN, "Jack" (born in October of 1880, died 1917).

Jack enlisted as a private on the 10th of August, 1861, and was appointed 3rd Sergeant on the 5th of May, 1862. He was captured at Nashville, Tennessee, on the 16th of December, 1864. He was released at Camp Douglas, Illinois, on the 18th of June, 1865. [He served the Confederate cause with his younger brother, John Anthony BOYKIN Sr., "Jack," who was also captured at Nashville TN and released from Camp Douglas IL, all service dates being the same for both.]
