A gathering from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 10, in the Beaverton home of his son David, for Clair Willis Alford, who died Feb. 25 at age 87.
Mr. Alford was born Feb. 26, 1920, in Portland. He served in the Navy in World War II, including during the attack on Pearl Harbor. He was an auto parts salesman. In 1945, he married Evelyn Luoma; she died in 1984. In 1993, he married Kim Duong.
Survivors include his wife; son, David; daughter, Susan Weinstein; brother, Vern; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild....
