Helen Marie Baker
Helen Marie Baker of Denver, a telephone operator, died Jan. 20. She was 76.
Services and interment were Jan. 24 in Fort Logan National Cemetery.
She was born March 5, 1923, in Evergreen. On March 25, 1959, she married Vincent W. Baker in Fraser. He preceded her in death.
She worked at Mountain Bell and retired from US West.
She was a member of Telephone Pioneers, Cornwall Cousins and the Communications Workers of America.
Her interests were researching family and Colorado history.
She is survived by a sister, Margaret Peterson, Independence, Mo.; and a brother, Ralph Phillips, Arvada.
