Grace Ruth Tilley Arms, 83, formerly of Mayodan, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at Brian Center, in Eden.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 23, at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Bullins Cemetery, Sunset Park, Danbury, N.C.
Mrs. Arms was born March 27, 1926, in Stokes County, to the late Huffie Sanford Tilley and Delia Lawson Tilley. She was a past employee of United Elastic and Lefty's Restaurant and was a member of Friends Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a former husband, Ernest Bullins; a son, Brady Carroll Bullins; and brothers, Carl Junior Tilley and Zane Tilley.
Survivors include her husband, Tivis A. Arms; son, Tivis V. Arms; brothers, Elmer Tilley (Bertie) of Stuart, Va., and Brady Tilley (Martha) of Sandy Ridge; daughters-in-law, Sue Arms and Margaret Bullins; grandchildren, Zachary R. and Bethany R. Arms and Allen, Kenny and O'niel Bullins; and great-grandchildren, Dereck, Brittany and Brayden Bullins.
