Myriam King Allen, 88, of Lillian died Feb. 15, 2004 at a nursing facility.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elberta, a member of the Lillian Women's Club and a member of Ft. Bowyer DAR Chapter in Foley.
She is preceded in death by her husband James B. Allen, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Suzanne Allen Lengel of Fairhope; two sons, William W. Allen of Elberta and James R. (Diane) Allen of Pensacola; a brother, William Harry (Dot) King of Easley, S.C. and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Feb. 18, 2004 at the First Baptist Church of Elberta and the Rev. Virgil Payne officiated. Burial was in Elberta Public Cemetery. Visitation was held on Feb. 17, 2004 at Bayview Funeral Home in Foley.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Elberta, P.O. Box 42, Elberta, AL 36530 or the Lillian Volunteer Fire Dept. 34180 Widell Ave., Lillian, AL 36549.
Arrangements were by Bayview Funeral Home, Foley.
