BOWERS, Rosetta (Cobb) age 82 of Dayton, Ohio went to be with Jesus on Sunday, April 19, 2009. She was born July 7, 1926 to the late Andrew and Maude Cobb of Corbin, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Ret. CMSGT Kenneth Lee Bowers formerly of Fairmount, IN who passed away in 2004; and also by 2 sisters and 3 brothers. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Norbert Mikalunas formerly of Chicago, IL. She is survived by her daughter Robin Mikalunas of Wichita Falls, TX; and a sister, Jeanette Disney Pennington of Dayton, OH and one brother, James A. Cobb of Corbin, KY and his wife, Fredina; and several nieces and nephews. She lived 35 years in Florida before returning to Dayton in 1993. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Fairborn. The family wishes to thank the amazing staff at Bethany Lutheran Village and Hospice of Dayton. Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH. A funeral service will be held in Corbin, KY on Thursday night.
