Died, at St. John's Hospital, Tuesday, Aug. 14, 1900, of old age, James Connors, aged 70 years old. Mr. Connors' death was due to the infirmities of old age. He has been confined to the hospital for several months in a very weak physical condition. He was formerly a blacksmith and leaves no relatives in Springfield. The funeral will be held this afternoon from Foster's undertaking parlors. The remains will be interred in Oak Ridge cemetery.
