Mrs. Cora G. Bridges, 84, died today at 7:15a.m. at Shelby Convalescent Center after several years of declining health and one week of serious illness.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of George W. and Alice Crook Gilbert and the widow of Oscar Quinn Bridges.
She was a retired employee of Cleveland Cloth Mills and a member of Hoyle Memorial United Methodist Church.
