Dr Mary Kay Crumbaker was the owner and sole instructor of the Eugene Business College, Eugene Oregon. The business was owned by her parents, She taught students from all over the world. While I was in attendance there from 1975 to 1977 there were students from Africa, India, and Japan. She believed that everyone could learn and be a productive member of society. She also taught English to Japanese students when her husband was stationed there after the war. After her first husband died, she meet and married Warren Lomax. They had been sweethearts before she lost touch with him and married her first husband and they lived happily for many years before her death. Mary Kay was involved in many organizations in town; Business Women United, WCTU, Eastern Star, and the Rebecca's. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church and an accomplished musician.

SPRINGFIELD - A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 7, at the Scottish Rite Masonic Temple in Eugene for Mary Kay Crumbaker Lomax of Springfield. She died March 2 of a stroke at age 87.
She was born Oct. 15, 1920, in Great Falls, Mont., to Calvin and Kathryn Harbaugh Crumbaker. She married William Williamson on Dec. 17, 1941, in Petersburg, Va. He died in 1970. She married Warren Lomax on July 11, 1989, in Roseburg.
She graduated from the University of Oregon in 1946 with a bachelor's degree in business administration and from Oregon State University in 1966 with a master's degree in guidance and counseling and business education. She received a doctorate in 1974 from National Christian University. With her parents, she owned and operated Eugene Business College. She taught piano and voice lessons and was a career educator.
Survivors include her husband; three children, Calvin Williamson of Alvin, Texas, Albert Williamson of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Erilda Waters of Bradenton, Fla.; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in Garfield Cemetery in Garfield, Wash. Arrangements by Nelson's Bay Area Mortuary in Coos Bay.
