Our special mom was born June 18, 1918 in Spring City, Utah to Joseph Ishmael Beck and Mabel Lucinda Black Beck.

She was the second of four children. She was raised in Spring City and attended the Spring City Elementary School and North Sanpete High School.

On April 5, 2009, Mom passed into eternity. Mom lived at Autumn Park Assisted Living Center in Mount Pleasant, Utah and the family appreciated all they did to make it as comfortable as possible. She was at the Community Living Center in Centerfield, Utah when she passed away.

Mom met Harold Arnoldsen in the fall of 1934 and they were married on the 6th of February, 1936 in Nephi, Utah. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti Utah Temple on August 25, 1936. Harold passed away on the 2nd of May, 1975.

Mom is survived by her children, Joleen Christensen, Harold Dean (LaRayne) Arnoldsen and Sue Jones (Howard Wadley); 12 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by her brothers Morris Joseph (Marjorie) Beck and Lewis Reid (Noreen) Beck. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mabel Beck, husband, Harold and sister, Ida Stubbs.

Mom was always active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served as Primary president and many other positions. She always had a strong testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

After Harold passed away, Mom was able to travel and enjoyed seeing many parts of the world. Mom loved to cook and was always looking for new recipes. She could tell you which cook book and what page it was on when you needed a recipe.

In 1950, Mom started working at the Moroni Processing Plant and continued working there in various positions for the next 32 years. She enjoyed the association of many people during that time.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Moroni Stake Center. A visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the Church.
Interment will be in the Moroni City Cemetery.
