Wilhelmine was born in Prussia the 4th child born to Joachim ROGGOW and Regine WERTH. She came to America with her parents and 6 brothers and sisters, arriving 18 August 1843 in New York from Hamburg on board the Barque Kammonham Roy. She was 11 years old.
There is a reference to Wilhelmine in Rev. Christian SCWAN'S diary #5 pages 60-63.1
She marries Johann BREDOW 24 Apr 1850 in Bergholz, Niagara Co., New York. So far I have not been able to find her and her new busband in the 1850 census.
Everything else I have discovered for Wilhelmine is in Johann's bio. She dies before Johann from Ulceration of Liver according to her death record and she is buried in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Hagensville, Presque Isle Co., Michigan with her husband. From early pictures of her gravestone it was intact but from a picture on FindaGrave dated 2010 we see that her stone has been toppled.
