Legates, Esther H., 86, of St. Petersburg, die Monday, February 19, 2007 at Hospice Woodside. Born in Fishing Creek, NJ and came here in 1967 from Cape May, NJ. She was a homemaker and was Methodist. She was preceded in death by her husband Rutherford in 1977 and a grandson Bryan in 1993. She is survived by her son, Richard LeGates and his wife Leigh, Chesapeake City, MD; a daughter, Nancy Latusek and her husband Frank, St. Petersburg, Fl.; a sister, Joy Ackroyd and her husband Don, St. Petersburg; a grandson, Ronald LeGates, New York City, NY; two grandaughters: Christy Yellen and Lori Latusek, both of California; and two great-grandchildren. A service will be held Friday February 23, 2007 at Anderson-McQueen Funeral & Cremeation Centers-NE St. Petersburg, Chapel. Internment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
