Obituary: Jefferson City Post Tribune, Thursday, August 18, 1994

Vera E. Dickerson, 69, Olean, died Wednesday at Memorial Community
Hospital (Jefferson City). She was born Aug 29, 1924, in Dugger, Ind.,
a daughter of Rollie and Glyna Bedwell Sumner. She was married Feb 14,
1942, in Indianapolis, to Charles Dickerson, who survives at the home.
A homemaker, she had lived in Miller and Morgan Counties since 1960.

Other survivors include: three daughters, Carol Field, Westminster,
Calif., Linda Rhoads, Sedalia, and Marsha Hubbs, Eldon; one brother,
Richard Sumner, Indianapolis; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Roscoe Sumner, a brother Floyd Sumner, and a sister Violet Marie Sumner Howard.
