Aloys C. Kleiss was born in Muenster, Texas to Michael and Angeline Rohmer Kleiss. He was a student of Sacred Heart School and graduated from Subiaco Academy in Subiaco, Arkansas. He married Esther Sturm. He was a farmer. About 1967, he moved his family to Subiaco and lived the remainder of his life there. He is survived by his wife, Esther, sons Mike and Gene and daughters Ruth and Mary Ann Watts; three sisters, Helen Hofbauer, Rose Walterscheid, and Sr. Aloysia Kleiss and a brother John. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Anthony, Albert and Joseph and a sister Louise.
