Sarah Sue Fletcher, 73, of Mountain Home died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, at Baxter Regional Medical Center. A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Hughes officiating. Visitation will be from noon-9 p.m. Thursday at Roller Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m.
She was born Dec. 6, 1933, at Norfork to C. C. "Check" and Hazel Best Parnell. She attended elementary school at Buford and graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1951. She married Eudell Fletcher May 5, 1951. She was retired from Baxter Healthcare (then Baxter Laboratories) and was a member of Mountain Home Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of Care Manor Nursing Home; two sons, Marlin (Jan) Fletcher of Russellville and Wayne (Sherri) Fletcher of Gassville; one daughter, Peggy (David) Price of Eden Prairie, Minn.; one brother, Max Parnell of Memphis, Tenn.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchiildren; four nephews; three nieces; and an "adopted son," Allen Walton. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Burial will be at Baxter Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Heiskill Cemetery Association.
