Maude M. LOWE, 87, who lived with her daughter, Georgia Liming, at 219 W. 11th St., died at 11:10 p.m. Saturday in Miller's Merry Manor Nursing Home, Plymouth. She had been in failing health several years. She was born Aug.2, 1897 in Rochester to Zenith and Laura Cook Mowe, and lived her entire life in this area. She was married to Isaac Thompson, who died in 1950. She later married E.L. Lowe, who preceded her in death. She was a 20-year employee of the former Armour Creamery, had worked several years at Woodlawn Hospital, and had dressed suctom poultry in her home. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and the Service Circle of the church, and was a life member of the Eagles Lodge Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving with the daughter, Georgia LIMING, is another daughter, Marguerite Zimmerman, Walkerton; five grandchildren, Nancy Hoffman, Rochester; Earl Beck, Graham, Texas; Tim Thompson, Washington, D.C; Steve Thompson, Chicago, Ill., and Verle Zimmerman, Fort Wayne; eleven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew, Mrs. Paul (Verla) Zartman and Evelyn DeMein, both of Rochester, and Wilbert Rouch, Wabash. A daughter, two sons and a sister preceded in death. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Foster & Good Funeral Home in Rochester with the Rev. Frank Voss officiating. Burial will be in the Citizens Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
