JACOBS, Derrick Mr. Derrick Michael Jacobs, age 23 of Cumming, died January 23, 2008. Derrick was a graduate of Lakeview High School in Fort Oglethorpe. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Don and Linda Hale and Ken Alexander and an aunt, Thearsa Jacobs; he is survived by his son, Sky Kosarin; mother, Lisa Alexander and step-father - David Alexander of Cumming; father and step-mother Thomas and Regina York of Ringgold; biological father, Lee Jacobs of Florida; grandparents, Jim and Margaret Parker of Ringgold, Bill and Alice York of Florida, Betty Alexander of Cumming and Arnold and Margaret Jacobs of Florida; brother Joshua York of Cumming; sister, Alexus York of Cumming. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 26, 2008 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Northside Chapel Funeral Directors. Rev. John Wolfe and Rev. William Smith officiating. Interment, Melwood Cemetery.
