Judy Hallman, 68 of Richmond Hill, passed away Wednesday morning, March 18, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She had lived with her parents in Blackshear for most of her life. Following the death of her mother in 2006, she lived in the Savannah area to be near the remainder of her loving family.
She was the daughter of the late Julian Hallman Jr. and Murriel H. Hallman and was a granddaughter of the late Julian Sr. and Bertha Corder Hallman and the late Christopher and Nora Riggins Howard.
Survivors include two brothers and sisters-in-law, Howard and Shirley Hallman, Savannah, Ronald and Elizabeth Hallman, Claxton, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was a member of Mershon Baptist Church.
Visitation will take place from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, from the Pearson-Dial Chapel with the Rev. Jack Sinclair, pastor of Mershon Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment will follow in the Blackshear City Cemetery.
