The Lititz (PA) Express, Friday, 30 Jun 1922.

"CARPENTER - DITZLER.

Victor Carpenter, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Carpenter, and Miss Mary Ditler [sic], daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ditzler, both of Lititz, were married at 9 o'clock on Saturday evening at the Reformed parsonage on Liberty Street, by the Rev. George B. Raezer. The ring ceremony was used. They took a short trip."

"Mrs. Mary A. Butt, 80, of 310 N. New St., Lititz, died Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Calvary Fellowship Homes Inc., following an illness of two months.
She was a former employee of the former Stehli Silk Mill, Lancaster.
She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Lititz, and the Sunshine Class of the church.
Born in Minersvillage, she was a daughter of the late William B. and Elizabeth Shaeffer Ditzler and the wife of the late George H Butt. She was previously married to the late Victor L. Carpenter.
She lived in Lititz for 60 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Geraldine, wife of William J. Windle, Atglen R1; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Anna, wife of Abram Leaman, Lancaster."
