Sports Magnate. He was the principal owner of the NBA Detroit Pistons, the WNBA Detroit Shock, the IHL Detroit Vipers and the NHL Tampa Bay Lightning. Under his reign, the Pistons won NBA Finals in 1989, 1990 and 2004. His Shock won the 2003, 2006 and 2008 WNBA Finals and the Vipers won the Turner Cup in 1997. In 2004, he became the only owner in professional sports history to win a NBA Championship with the Detroit Pistons and a Stanley Cup with the Tampa Bay Lightning. He also owned Palace Sports and Entertainment and was chairman of Guardian Industries, the world's largest suppler of automotive glass. With his combined business ventures, Forbes ranked him as one of the richest persons in the United States with a net worth of $4 Billion. In 2008, he was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
