On April 8, 1933, she was married to Melvin James Benson of Springfield Township. Mr. Benson passed away October 24, 1973. The following children survive: Fred L., Phoenixville, Merrill G. Royersford; Berlyn W. at home; Mrs. Wendell (Viola) Glunt, Shade Gap; Harold E. Mount Holly Springs and Mrs. Vernon (Ethelda) Stydinger, Carteret, N.J. One son Jesse is deceased. There are sixteen grandchildren. Mrs. Benson leaves one brother, Walter Bachtel of Saxton, R.D. She was a member of the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church at Three Springs, R.D.
Interment will be made in the Chilcote Cemetery, Three Springs, R.D. She was a member of the Sugar Grove United Methodist Church at Three Springs, R. D.
