Funeral services will be 10 am Wednesday, Sept 23, at the Chapel Hill-Butler Funeral Home, 701 N 94th Street, KCK. Interment will follow in Shawnee Cemetery, Kansas City, Kansas. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. The family requests that any contributions be made to Crossroads Hospice.
Freida was born March 22, 1918, in Norton, Kansas, to Henry Louis and Mary Hester (Fowler) Perkins, and she had lived in the Kansas City area most of her life. She was a member of Grinter Heights Baptist Church before it closed. She enjoyed reading and watching baseball and football.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin Boyer; one daughter, Peggy L Logan; and one son, David Sharp.
Survivors include her sons, Frank Sharp (Sharon), and Gary Sharp (Diane) all of Kansas City, Kan.; 18 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; two nieces; and one nephew.
