Mrs. Morris L. Bankston ( "Puddin" ) 77 of Greenbrier, departed this life January 12, 2009. She was a retired cook for the County of Los Angeles.

She was born to the late Morris Irby and Eugene Vaughn Irby in Mayflower, Arkansas. She was a member of the Zion Grove Baptist Church in Twin Groves.

Survivors - One Daughter, Ruby L. Garth of Mayflower; Two Sons - Cecil Armstrong, Grandview, MO; Roy Stubbs, Los Angeles, CA; Two Sisters - Loretta Grandberry and Mary Perkins of Los Angeles, CA; Five Brothers - Will Irby of Conway; Walter Irby of Camden; Louis Earl Irby of Little Rock; Harry Irby and James Irby of Bakersville, CA; 8 Grandchildren, 12 Great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11am Saturday at Palarm Chapel Baptist Church in Mayflower, AR. Interment Palarm Chapel Cemetery. Visitation 6-7pm Friday at Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home, Conway.
