TUPELO - Moses Sharp died Friday May 14, 2004. He was born Feb.25, 195, to Ida Lee and Arthur Sharp Sr. He was a veteran, a member of the Ministry and an elder at Refugee Assembly Church in Houlka for 10 years. He was the owner of a cleaner in Chicago and was retired from concrete finishing. He married Valerie Taylor Triplett of St. Louis on Feb. 22 1991.

Services will be at 10 a.m. May 21 at the Temple of Compassion of Deliverance in Tupelo with Minister James C. Atkinson officiating. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Corinth. N. L. Jones Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife Valerie Sharp; four daughters, Brenda Sharp, Carone Sharp, Rolethia Sharp-Blount and Llethia
Sharop-Goston; three sons, Perry Strong, Michael Taylor and Melvin Elem; a brother Ben Sharp and wife Sandra; three sisters, Margie Dilworth and husband Nathaniel, Nancy Fields and Rose Robeicheaux; five sister in laws, Adrienne Hopkins, Daphne Anderson, Stephanie Taylor, Lorena Taylor and Tara Taylor; three brothers in law, Wesley Taylor, Keith Taylor and Kelvin Taylor; 32 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Cornell Sharp; two brothers, Arthur Sharp;and Clarence Sharp; four sisters, Agnolia Holland, Josephine Sharp Finnie ,Mae TaMae Houston,and Dorothy Sharp Bailey ; and a brother in law, Gentry Fields.
