Sports Magnate. He was the owner of the Cleveland/Los Angeles Rams of the NFL from 1941 until his death. Reeves helped open the US West Coast to professional sports when he moved his Rams from Cleveland to Los Angeles in 1946. He became the first post-WWII NFL owner to sign an African-American in 1946 when he signed Kenny Washington.
