Mrs. Martha Melissa Boyd, 85, Cambridge R.D. 5, died at 5:50 a.m. Wednesday at Guernsey Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for five weeks.
She was born at Kimbolton (North Salem community), June 19, 1881, the daughter of Martin V. and Hannah Carnes McKim, and was a member of the North Salem Community Church and its Sunday School. She was the last of a family of 11, with five sisters and five brothers deceased.
Mrs. Boyd leaves her husband, whom she married April 16, 1914; two sons, Horance Touvell, Antrim, Byron Touvell, Senecaville; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Bundy Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday from the funeral home with the Rev. Irville Baker officiating. Burial will be in the North Salem Community Cemetery.
