Both of her parents died in 1908; at the time of the 1910 U.S. census, she and her sister Emma were living with their older sister Neal Beal Braswell Garrison and her husband in Dallas, Texas.
Daisy was regarded as one of the best stenographers in the city of Dallas, as well as a knowledgable business woman.
About 1914, Daisy married Omar Lee Browning, a farmer from Missouri. By 1920 they were living on a farm in Valley County, Montana. Daisy's sister Emma Annie Braswell was living next door to the Brownings.
By 1930 Omar and Daisy were among the thousands who populated Crane County, Texas after oil was discovered there in 1926.
At the time of Omar's death in 1949, he was working for the Gulf Oil Co. and they were living in Longview, Texas.
By the time of her death in 1966, Daisy had relocated to Fort Worth, Texas. She and Omar are buried in Dallas.
It is believed that Daisy and Omar did not have any children, since none are listed in any of the censuses. Unless proven otherwise with a birth certificate, I am the closest living relative since her oldest sister Neal Beall Braswell Garrison is my great grandmother.
