Donald D. Bevan, 74, Roeland Park, KS, passed away March 30,
2004, at Trinity Lutheran Manor. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 1 at
D.W. Newcomer's Sons Johnson County Funeral Chapel, 11200 Metcalf, Overland
Park, KS. Burial in Johnson County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour
prior to funeral services on Thursday at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be
made to Shriner's Children's Hospitals, c/o Abdallah Shrine, 5300 Metcalf, Overland
Park, KS. Donald was born November 8, 1929, in Garden City, MO. He was a
Construction Materials Salesman, a Past Mason, and Shrine Member. The Bevan
family wishes to thank Trinity Lutheran Manor & Hospice for the care and support
they have given. He was preceded in death by his father Gene W. Bevan. Survivors
include his wife Sherry (Wampler) Bevan, Roeland Park, KS; mother Blanche
(Woods) Bevan, Overland Park, KS; children Bonnie Bevan, Kansas City, KS, Bob and
Barbara Bevan, Shawnee, KS, Betty Bevan, Mission, KS, and Billi and Joe Ruwart,
Overland Park, KS; grandchildren Melanie Mount, Mission, KS, Jesse Trible, Kansas
City, KS, Susie Mount, Overland Park, KS, Sam Bevan, Shawnee, KS; and brother
Robert C. Bevan, Kansas City, MO.
