Prior to her retirement, she was a computer operator for the state Department of Public Aid. She had been a member of Jerome United Methodist Church since 1951.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth of Normal and Thomas of Chatham; two brothers, W.H. Yancy of Flint, Mich., and Owen Yancy of Cowden; three sisters, Hazel Parrish of Springfield, Bernice High of Tomkinsville, Ky., and Rosa Mae Barnett of Elizabethtown, Ky.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services at Jerome United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Stanley Haxton officiating. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
