She was born December 4, 1908 in Vernal, Utah, a daughter of George Albert and Georgiana Blackburn Merkley. Eva married Alfred J. Knight on June 15, 1955 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Dec. 19, 1962. Active member of the LDS Church.
Eva is survived by a brother and sisters, Kate M. Jewkes, Price, Utah; G. Warren (Cleone) Merkley, Flora M. Keel, and Jack (Marie) Voyles, all of Vernal, Utah; many nieces and nephews, and two stepdaughters, Carol Knotts and Colleen Waterson, both of California.
A viewing will be held at Thomson's Vernal Mortuary on Friday evening, March 12th from 6-8 p.m. Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 13th at 12 noon at the Ogden City Cemetery in Ogden, Utah. Services under the direction of Thomson's Vernal Mortuary.
