Funeral services for Mrs. Joy England age 71 of Lindale are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 25, 2006 in the Central Baptist Church in Lindale with the Rev. Byron Howard officiating. Burial to follow in the Lindale City Cemetery and arrangements are under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors in Lindale. Mrs. England died Wednesday morning at her home in Lindale. She was born May 5, 1934 in Cade, Oklahoma, the daughter of James Melburn and Pinkie Parlee Duty Furr. Mrs. England moved from Lindale to Eunice, New Mexico where she lived for 21 years before moving back to Lindale in 1991. While living there, she worked a number of years as a supervisor at the Levi Strauss Company in Hobbs, New Mexico and was a homemaker and member of the Central Baptist Church.

Mrs. England was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. A.L. "Lee" England May 7, 1993. She is survived by 2 sons, Richard England of Texas City, & Bobby England of Victoria; Daughter, Debra McBee of Eunice, New Mexico; 2 Brothers, Richard Furr of Velarde, New Mexico, & Don Furr of Greenock, Scotland; 4 Sisters, Iowene Harmon of Lindale, Mary Hilburn of Lindale, Lula Hilton of Winnsboro, & Wanda Wilson of Lindale;
6 Grandchildren; 1 Great-Grandchild; and Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Pallbearers will be Hank Wilson, Paul Wilson, Jay Hilburn, David Provan, Phillip Provan, Keith Rutledge, & Dewey Longino.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Lindale Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
