BOSTIC : Mr. June Greene Wright, 90, died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, at Fair Haven Nursing Home.
Mr. Wright was a son of the late Eulon and Mae Bridges Wright and stepmother, Mae McKinney Wright.
He retired with 28 years of service as a Master Sgt. in the U.S. Army and served in World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor.
He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and class secretary for the Harl Owens Sunday School Class.
His first wife, Rebecca Burns Wright and brother, Carl Wright preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Callie Waters Wright of the home; two sons, Myron Wright and wife, Vivian, of Ellenboro, Paul Michael Wright of Charleston, S.C.; two daughters, Sarah Daves and husband, Jerry, of Ellenboro; Linda Gillinin and husband, Luther, of Ellenboro; one stepson, Norman Jones and wife, Mary, of Forest City; one brother, Lewis Wright and wife, Pat, of Polkville; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
