Thomas F Welsh, 61, was a 15 year resident of San Bernardino and was a native of Braddock, Pennsylvania. He taught school at Bloomington High School and was a member of the CTA and the NEA. He was president of the Colton Unified Education Association in 1971-72. He received his degree from Eastern Michigan University and he belonged to St. Anne's Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife Bertha Foy; three sons, Lee P of Idaho, Thomas J of Michigan and Patrick F of San Bernardino; a daughter Cheryl Makarewicz of Michigan; Five brothers, two sisters and eight grandchildren.
Mass will be in St. Anne's Catholic Church and burial will be in the Mountain View Cemetery.
