Sister Mary Martha Schardt, 75, died of a stroke today in the Monastery of the "Visitation. Born in Toledo to Albert and Mary Williams Schardt on May 2, 1887, Sister Schardt had been at the monastery 35 years. Surviving are sisters, Mrs. Cleova Fall, Mrs. Gertrude Dennis and Eva, Rose, Grace and Nellie Schardt, and brothers, John, Joseph and Frank Schardt, all of Toledo. Preceded in death by her parents and a brother Charles (Mike) Schardt. Services and burial will be tomorrow at 9 a.m. at the Monastery Cemetery.
