Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Braswell died at his home here on Friday after a long illness. He was the son of the late E. R. Braswell and Molly Gullat Braswell.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Emma Gaar Braswell; one daughter, Mrs. W. F. Almand of Vivian; one son, Walter G. Braswell of West Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. J. C. Donovan and Mrs. E. H. Powell of New Orleans; three grandchildren, W. F. Almand, Jr., of Shreveport; Betty Jo Almand and Walter Braswell, Jr. of Ruston, and one great grandson, Gene Braswell.
Pallbearers were nephews, J. E. Woodward, Thomas Woodward, J. D. Murry, J. M. Patterson, J. C. Hilton and L. T. Lewis.
