Hospitalized with pneumonia on January 2, 1864. Hospitalized on February 7, 1864 with pneumonia at Gordonsville, Virginia. Transferred on February 15, 1864 to Hospital, Richmond, Virginia. POW on May 5, 1864 at Wilderness, Virginia. Confined on May 17, 1864 at Point Lookout, Maryland. Transferred on August 10, 1864 to Elmira, New York. Died of pleuro-pneumonia as a POW.
