Inis Leona Barns was a daughter of Henry Spencer Barns and Sarah Ellen Nelson Barns. She had five siblings.

Inis Leona Barns married Otto Leo Much on February 13, 1907. They had four children.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home for Mrs. Inis Leona Much, 78, who died Tuesday at her home, 1238 Medford, after a long illness.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 2, 1887 in Cowley County. She lived at Stillwater, Okla., before moving to Topeka in 1924. She was a member of West Side Christian Church.

Her husband, Otto Much, died in 1949.

Survivors include four sons, Edward A. Much, Hutchinson, Clarence H. Much, 1227 Medford, Raymond L. Much, 1166 High, and Virgil Much, at home; a brother, Forest Barnes, Tonkawa, Okla.; a sister, Ms. Maggie Hayworth, Sedalia, Mo.; and a granddaughter.
